  1. Receive and organize incoming merchandise: The primary responsibility of this role is to receive products and organize them in the designated areas. This includes accurately checking the received items against the purchase orders and identifying any discrepancies.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate delivery: The Freight/Receiving team member will be responsible for ensuring that all products are delivered to the designated areas within the store in a timely and accurate manner. This includes coordinating with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Maintain inventory levels: Another important responsibility is to maintain accurate inventory levels by regularly updating the stock records. This involves monitoring the stock levels, identifying low-stock items, and communicating with the relevant teams to ensure timely replenishment.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service: As a member of the Freight/Receiving team, it is essential to provide exceptional customer service to all customers. This includes assisting with any inquiries, resolving any issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  5. Collaborate with team members: The Freight/Receiving team member will work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth functioning of the store. This includes collaborating with the sales team to fulfill customer orders and coordinating with the inventory control team to maintain accurate stock records.
  6. Maintain a safe and organized work environment: Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is crucial in this role. The team member will be responsible for following all safety protocols and keeping the receiving and storage areas clean and organized at all times.
  7. Adhere to company policies and procedures: It is the responsibility of the Freight/Receiving team member to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, inventory control, and customer service guidelines.
  8. Assist with other duties as assigned: The Freight/Receiving team member may be required to assist with other duties as assigned by the management team. This could include helping with store setup, participating in inventory counts, or supporting other departments during busy periods.
