1. Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks.
2. Verify accuracy of received items and match them to corresponding purchase orders.
3. Organize and stock received merchandise in designated areas.
4. Ensure all received merchandise is properly labeled and priced.
5. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
6. Communicate any discrepancies or damages in received merchandise to appropriate team members.
7. Assist with inventory management by conducting stock counts and reporting any discrepancies.
8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate restocking of merchandise on the sales floor.
9. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling merchandise.
10. Provide excellent customer service by assisting with any inquiries and directing customers to desired products.
11. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales to effectively assist customers.
12. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
13. Follow company standards for productivity and efficiency in receiving and stocking merchandise.
14. Take initiative in identifying and reporting any potential safety hazards in the store.
15. Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
