
Freight/Receiving Associate

- Receive and process incoming shipments of merchandise, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Organize and stock received merchandise in designated areas, following standard procedures and safety guidelines.
- Prepare merchandise for display and sale by ensuring proper labeling, pricing, and placement.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to company standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all merchandise is accounted for and available for customer purchase.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any customer inquiries or concerns related to merchandise.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and transport merchandise as needed.
- Follow established procedures for handling damaged or defective merchandise, including documenting and reporting incidents.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, at all times.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency in the receiving and freight department.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and team members.
- Attend training and development sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to job responsibilities.
- Comply with all company policies and regulations, including those related to health and safety.

Warehouse And Inventory Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Warehouse Or Managing Inventory. This Includes Knowledge Of Receiving And Shipping Procedures, As Well As Inventory Control Processes.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: As A Freight/Receiving Associate, The Job Will Involve Lifting And Moving Heavy Objects, Such As Boxes And Merchandise. The Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle These Tasks On A Regular Basis.
