- Receive and unload freight shipments from delivery trucks.
- Inspect and verify accuracy of incoming merchandise against purchase orders.
- Properly label and tag merchandise for inventory and pricing purposes.
- Organize and stock received merchandise in designated areas.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure timely and accurate merchandise receipt.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures when handling merchandise.
- Report any damaged or incorrect merchandise to management.
- Assist with inventory management and replenishment processes.

Experience In Warehouse Operations: A Freight Receiving Associate At The Home Depot Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center, With Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Forklift Operation, And Shipping/Receiving Procedures.
Strong Physical Stamina: This Position Involves Heavy Lifting, Standing For Long Periods Of Time, And Working In Various Weather Conditions. Therefore, A Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
