As a Freight Receiving Associate, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our stores are stocked with the products our customers need.   1. Receive and unload incoming freight shipments.
  2. Verify accuracy and quality of received products.
  3. Stock and organize merchandise on sales floor.
  4. Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper labeling and recording.
  5. Communicate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient stocking of products.
  6. Assist customers by providing product location and availability information.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  8. Follow safety procedures and guidelines while handling and storing products.
  9. Help with regular store maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and restocking.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient flow of merchandise.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  12. Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to assist customers with their inquiries.
  13. Take responsibility for resolving any customer concerns or complaints.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  15. Attend training sessions and stay updated on new products and procedures.
  16. Work as part of a team to achieve store goals and objectives.
  17. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  18. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new ideas to enhance the customer experience.
  19. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Warehouse Operations: A Freight Receiving Associate At The Home Depot Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center, With A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management And Receiving Processes.
