As a Freight Receiving Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our merchandise is received and processed accurately and efficiently.   1. Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments.
  2. Verify accuracy of received merchandise against purchase orders and packing lists.
  3. Organize and prioritize received merchandise for timely processing and stocking.
  4. Operate forklifts and other equipment to unload and move merchandise within the store.
  5. Ensure all received merchandise is properly labeled and tagged.
  6. Inspect merchandise for damages and report any issues to management.
  7. Maintain a clean, safe and organized receiving area.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate processing of merchandise.
  9. Communicate effectively with store management and other departments regarding merchandise status and availability.
  10. Follow company safety protocols and procedures while handling merchandise.
  11. Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers and assist with any inquiries or concerns.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  15. Participate in training and development programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Receiving And Handling Freight: This Includes Knowledge Of Proper Handling And Storage Procedures, As Well As Experience Operating Equipment Such As Forklifts And Pallet Jacks.

  • Strong Attention To Detail: Freight Receiving Associates Must Be Able To Accurately Check And Verify Incoming Shipments, Noting Any Discrepancies Or Damages.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability: The Job May Require Heavy Lifting And Standing For Long Periods Of Time, So Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Role.
