In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our store runs smoothly and efficiently by managing the flow of merchandise and supplies.   1. Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Organize and stock merchandise on shelves and in designated areas.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to safety and company guidelines.
  4. Process and track incoming and outgoing shipments, including verifying accuracy and documenting any discrepancies.
  5. Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and communicating any inventory needs to management.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient processing of merchandise.
  7. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with questions and concerns related to merchandise.
  8. Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and organize merchandise.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns related to freight and receiving.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, at all times.
  11. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  12. Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Experience In A Warehouse Or Receiving Environment, With A Focus On Freight And Inventory Management.

  • Proficiency In Operating Forklifts And Other Material Handling Equipment, With Necessary Certifications.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Accurately Track And Maintain Inventory Levels.

  • Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, Often Up To 50 Pounds, And Work In A Fast-Paced And Physically Demanding Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Other Team Members And Effectively Communicate With Customers And Vendors.
