  1. Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
  2. Organize and stock merchandise in designated areas, following company procedures and guidelines.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including shelves, bins, and backroom storage.
  4. Inspect and label incoming merchandise according to company standards.
  5. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory levels, stocking needs, and any issues or concerns.
  6. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for both employees and customers.
  7. Assist customers with locating and retrieving merchandise, providing exceptional customer service.
  8. Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and transport merchandise.
  9. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory counts as needed.
  10. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
  12. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  13. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Report any safety hazards, damaged merchandise, or customer concerns to supervisors immediately.
  15. Contribute to a positive and welcoming work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and a strong work ethic.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Logistics And/Or Inventory Management: A Successful Freight/Receiving Associate Should Have Prior Experience In Handling And Organizing Shipments, As Well As Managing Inventory Levels.

  • Physical Strength And Stamina: This Role Requires Heavy Lifting, Moving And Stacking Of Merchandise, So Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.

  • Attention To Detail: Freight/Receiving Associates Must Be Detail-Oriented To Ensure The Accuracy Of Incoming And Outgoing Shipments, As Well As Maintaining Inventory Records.

  • Communication And Teamwork Skills: As Part Of A Team, These Associates Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Co-Workers And Managers, As Well As Work Collaboratively To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines.

  • Knowledge Of Forklift And Other Warehouse Equipment: The Ability To Safely And Efficiently Operate Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Other Warehouse Equipment Is A Valuable Skill For A Freight/Receiving Associate, And May Be Required For The Role.
