- Oversee day-to-day operations of the distribution center, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity within the distribution center.
- Ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage and motivate a team of employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient communication and coordination between departments.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following all safety protocols and regulations.
- Develop and manage budgets for the distribution center, including forecasting and cost control measures.
- Ensure all orders are processed and shipped in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations and processes.
- Handle any customer inquiries or concerns related to distribution center operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
- Create and implement training programs for employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
- Coordinate with other departments to plan and execute special projects or initiatives.
- Represent the distribution center in meetings and presentations to senior management.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Distribution Center Operations Management.
Demonstrated Experience In Managing And Optimizing Warehouse Processes, Including Inventory Control, Order Fulfillment, And Shipping/Receiving.
Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage And Develop A Team Of Warehouse Associates.
Proficiency In Warehouse Management Systems And Other Relevant Software, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Principles And Best Practices.
