
Distribution Center Maintenance Technician
The Home Depot is seeking an experienced and motivated Distribution Center Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be an organized and reliable individual, with a passion for maintenance and the ability to multi-task. They must possess an exceptional eye for detail and be willing to take initiative and ownership of their work. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the maintenance of industrial and distribution center equipment, and have a strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices. We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow. Qualifications:• 5+ years of experience in industrial and distribution center maintenance • Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices • Ability to multi-task • Exceptional attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • A strong work ethic and positive attitude • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and inspect industrial and distribution center equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and safely.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial and distribution center equipment as needed.
- Maintain an organized work area and follow all safety protocols and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with industrial and distribution center equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial and distribution center equipment.
- Test industrial and distribution center equipment to ensure it is working properly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure that maintenance and repair tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain records of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ensure that all tools and supplies needed for maintenance and repair tasks are available.
- Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all safety regulations.
