1. Oversee daily operations of the assigned department, including but not limited to inventory management, product placement, and customer service.
2. Lead and manage a team of associates, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure a high level of performance and productivity.
3. Monitor and analyze department sales, expenses, and profitability, and implement strategies to drive growth and maximize profitability.
4. Create and maintain a positive and welcoming environment for customers, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional customer service.
5. Collaborate with other department supervisors and store management to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations within the department.
7. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
8. Handle and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
9. Train and develop associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
10. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends and developments.
11. Act as a role model for associates by demonstrating excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
12. Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by store management.
