Job Description

  1. Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the store.
  2. Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience and increase sales.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Train and supervise the store staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about products, services, and store policies.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring availability of products and identifying any discrepancies.
  6. Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Assist in creating schedules and managing employee work hours to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  8. Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
  9. Monitor and analyze sales and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to the Store Manager.
  10. Maintain a safe and clean store environment by adhering to company safety standards and conducting regular inspections.
  11. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  12. Assist in managing vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to make informed business decisions.
  14. Uphold the values and mission of The Home Depot and set a positive example for team members.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In Retail Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Similar Industry Or Store Size.
