  1. Monitor and identify potential security risks within the store premises
  2. Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of customers and associates
  3. Observe and report any suspicious or criminal activity to the appropriate authorities
  4. Utilize CCTV and other surveillance techniques to monitor and prevent theft and loss
  5. Collaborate with store management and team members to implement and maintain security protocols
  6. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions related to security
  7. Train and educate store associates on security procedures and protocols
  8. Conduct internal investigations into suspected theft or loss and document findings
  9. Maintain accurate records of security incidents and reports
  10. Assist in the apprehension and detention of suspected shoplifters or criminals
  11. Ensure all safety equipment, such as fire alarms and emergency exits, are functioning properly
  12. Stay up-to-date on security trends and developments to continuously improve protocols and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Theft Prevention Strategies, Such As Cctv Surveillance, Merchandise Protection, And Inventory Management.

  • Experience In Security Or Law Enforcement: A Background In Security Or Law Enforcement Is Preferred For This Role, As It Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And The Ability To Handle Challenging Situations.

  • Ability To Analyze Data And Identify Trends: The Asset Protection Specialist Will Be Responsible For Monitoring And Analyzing Data Related To Store Theft And Shrinkage. The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And The Ability To Identify Trends And Patterns.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Requires Interacting With Store Associates, Customers, And Law Enforcement Personnel. The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Handle These Interactions.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Multi-Task: The Asset Protection Specialist Must Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. This Includes Monitoring Surveillance Footage, Conducting Investigations, And Completing Reports Accurately And In A Timely Manner.
