- Protect company assets: The primary responsibility of an Asset Protection Specialist is to safeguard the company's assets, including merchandise, equipment, and cash, from theft and damage.
- Monitor store activity: The specialist will be responsible for monitoring the store's activity through CCTV cameras, floor walks, and other surveillance techniques to identify any suspicious behavior.
- Investigate incidents: In case of any theft or damage, the specialist will conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause and identify the individuals responsible.
- Enforce safety protocols: The specialist will ensure that all safety protocols, including fire safety, emergency exits, and accident prevention, are strictly adhered to in the store.

Attention To Detail: A Successful Asset Protection Specialist Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Spot Suspicious Behavior Or Discrepancies In Inventory. This Role Also Requires Accurate Record-Keeping And Attention To Detail When Reviewing Cctv Footage Or Conducting Investigations.
