- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to asset protection, including but not limited to access control, cash handling, and merchandise protection.
- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of theft, fraud, and other security violations, and provide detailed reports to management and law enforcement as needed.
- Train and educate store associates on loss prevention techniques and the importance of maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and potential areas of improvement in loss prevention efforts.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and security firms, to enhance overall store security.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed, including administering first aid and contacting emergency services.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in asset protection and make recommendations for improving security protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security incidents, investigations, and training.
- Communicate with customers and associates in a professional and courteous manner to address their concerns and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols and guidelines set forth by the company.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and drills.
