- Conduct routine inspections of store premises to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and associates.
- Collaborate with store management and fellow team members to develop and implement effective security measures and protocols.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies, including theft, accidents, and medical situations.
- Train and educate store associates on theft prevention techniques and company security policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and investigate any discrepancies or suspicious activity.
- Work closely with law enforcement and legal authorities to resolve and prosecute any criminal activity.
- Keep accurate records of all security-related incidents and compile reports for management.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in asset protection and security.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with any security-related concerns or questions.
- Act as a role model for safe and ethical behavior within the store.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources and Loss Prevention, to ensure the overall safety and security of the store.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
