- Perform routine tire and lube maintenance on fleet vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot tire and lube related issues on vehicles.
- Perform tire rotations, balance and repairs as needed.
- Change oil, filters, and perform other routine lube services on vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines in regards to vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Continuously improve and expand knowledge of tire and lube techniques and procedures through training and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors or management team.
- Represent The Hertz Corporation in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Automotive Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Vehicle Mechanics And Be Able To Diagnose And Repair Common Issues Related To Tires And Lubrication.
Previous Experience: Previous Experience Working As A Tire And Lube Technician Is Preferred, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Servicing And Maintaining Vehicles.
Attention To Detail: The Role Of A Tire And Lube Technician Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail, As Even Minor Mistakes Can Have A Significant Impact On Vehicle Safety And Performance.
Physical Fitness: The Job May Involve Heavy Lifting, Bending, And Standing For Extended Periods, So A Good Level Of Physical Fitness Is Essential.
