
Desktop Support Analyst
The Hertz Corporation is seeking a motivated and experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for computers and related systems. We are looking for someone with an outstanding customer service attitude, excellent problem solving skills, and an ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of technical expertise and exceptional communication skills.Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field• At least five years of experience in desktop support• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with desktop operating systems, software applications, and network connectivity• Excellent customer service, problem solving, and communication skills• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision• Experience with remote support tools and technologies• A+ Certification preferred
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support and maintenance for computers and related systems • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues • Respond to desktop and laptop hardware and software service requests • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software • Perform desktop software and hardware upgrades • Assist with the deployment of new desktop systems • Assist with the installation of new software applications • Monitor and maintain local area networks • Ensure compliance with network security policies • Provide technical assistance and training to end users • Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights • Create and maintain documentation of services and procedures • Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvement • Stay up to date with new technologies, industry trends, and best practices
