Job Description

Welcome to The Cosmetics Company Store - the ultimate destination for beauty enthusiasts! We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Seasonal Sales Associate to join our team at The Block location, part of The Estée Lauder Companies. As a Seasonal Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting our wide range of high-quality cosmetics products. If you have a love for the beauty industry and a knack for sales, we want you to join our team!

  1. Greet and welcome customers to The Cosmetics Company Store, building a positive and friendly atmosphere.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in finding products, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
  3. Promote and sell a wide range of high-quality cosmetics products to customers.
  4. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and new releases to effectively communicate and recommend products to customers.
  5. Meet and exceed sales goals by actively engaging with customers and utilizing sales techniques.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, including restocking products and keeping shelves and displays neat.
  7. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  8. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
  9. Assist with inventory management, including restocking and conducting regular stock counts.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including proper use of equipment and following safety guidelines.
  11. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  12. Attend and actively participate in training sessions to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and team members at all times.
  14. Proactively seek out opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to customers.
  15. Handle customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  16. Help with visual merchandising and store displays to attract and engage customers.
  17. Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
  18. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and keep up-to-date with industry trends.
  19. Adhere to company dress code and grooming standards.
  20. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by respecting and valuing diversity.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Sales Experience: A Successful Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Sales, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Provide Excellent Customer Service And Meet Sales Targets.

  • Knowledge Of Cosmetics: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Interest And Knowledge In Cosmetics And Beauty Products. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Educate And Assist Customers In Finding The Right Products For Their Needs.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential For This Role. The Seasonal Sales Associate Will Interact With A Diverse Range Of Customers And Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Product Information And Promotions.

  • Flexible Availability: As A Seasonal Employee, The Sales Associate Should Be Available To Work A Variety Of Shifts, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. This Flexibility Will Ensure Adequate Coverage During Busy Periods.

  • Team Player: The Sales Associate Will Be Part Of A Team And Should Be Able To Work Collaboratively And Effectively With Others. This Includes Assisting Colleagues, Sharing Knowledge, And Contributing To A Positive And Supportive Work Environment.
