Job Description

If so, The Estée Lauder Companies is looking for a Part Time MAC Keyholder at our Mission Viejo location. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills, knowledge of cosmetics, and provide exceptional customer service.   1. Lead and manage daily operations of the MAC counter at the Mission Viejo location.
  2. Maintain a strong knowledge of current makeup and skincare trends, as well as the Estée Lauder brand and products.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by actively engaging with clients and offering product recommendations and demonstrations.
  4. Train and develop team members to ensure they have a thorough understanding of MAC products and techniques.
  5. Collaborate with store management to set and achieve sales goals, as well as develop strategies to increase sales.
  6. Ensure the counter is clean, organized, and stocked at all times.
  7. Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere at the MAC counter.
  8. Stay up-to-date on all company policies and procedures and ensure they are being followed by all team members.
  9. Be a brand ambassador for MAC and the Estée Lauder Companies by embodying the brand's values and mission.
  10. Regularly communicate with upper management regarding sales, goals, and any issues or concerns.
  11. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement in processes, products, and customer service.
  12. Continuously strive to improve sales techniques and customer interactions.
  13. Act as a mentor and role model for team members, promoting a positive and professional work environment.
  14. Attend and actively participate in company trainings and meetings.
  15. Maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate business needs.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Experience: A Mac Keyholder Should Have Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Cosmetics Or Beauty Industry. This Will Ensure They Have A Good Understanding Of Customer Service And Sales.

  • Knowledge Of Mac Products: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Knowledge Of Mac Products, As Well As The Ability To Educate And Recommend Products To Customers. This Will Help To Drive Sales And Increase Customer Satisfaction.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Keyholder, This Position Requires The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Sales Associates. The Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Role And Be Able To Effectively Manage And Delegate Tasks.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Mac Keyholder Must Have Strong Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Colleagues, And Upper Management. They Should Also Be Able To Handle Customer Complaints And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Flexibility And Availability: This Position Requires A Flexible Schedule, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Available To Work During Peak Retail Hours And Be Able To Adapt To A Changing Schedule.
