- Develop and execute a comprehensive editorial strategy for Smashbox, aligned with the brand's overall marketing and business objectives.
- Lead a team of writers and editors, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality and on-brand content is produced.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, social media, and product development, to ensure all content aligns with brand messaging and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform and improve editorial strategy.
- Plan, oversee, and manage editorial projects, including but not limited to product launches, campaigns, and promotions.
- Edit and proofread all content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
- Manage editorial budget and resources to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as influencers and brand ambassadors, to develop and execute co-branded content.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics and use insights to inform future content strategy.
- Act as a brand ambassador and represent Smashbox at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Maintain a strong understanding of SEO best practices and implement them in all content.
- Stay abreast of emerging digital platforms and technologies to explore new opportunities for content distribution.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication, creativity, and innovation.
- Continuously seek out new and creative ways to engage target audiences and drive brand awareness and loyalty through editorial content.
Bachelor's Degree In Journalism, Communications, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Editorial Or Content Creation, Preferably In The Beauty Industry.
Strong Writing And Editing Skills, With A Keen Eye For Detail.
Proven Experience In Project Management And Ability To Meet Tight Deadlines.
