Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies

• Analyze financial information to identify and correct any discrepancies

• Perform bookkeeping tasks such as reconciliation of accounts, preparation of reports, and payment of invoices

• Prepare and review budgets to ensure spending is in line with goals

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual audit process

• Assist with tax preparation and filing

• Ensure all accounting records are up-to-date and accurate

• Provide customer service and support to customers concerning accounting issues

• Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and procedures

• Recommend improvements to existing accounting processes and procedures
