Distribution Supervisor

The Container Store is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Distribution Supervisor to join our team and manage our distribution operations. Our ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented leader who can analyze data, make informed decisions, and provide guidance to our team. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with all levels of the organization.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a distribution or warehouse-related role, as well as experience supervising a team. You must also have a strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations, be proficient with MS Office, and be comfortable operating a variety of warehouse equipment. 1. Manage daily distribution operations and supervise distribution staff.
2. Analyze data and make informed decisions based on findings.
3. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
4. Monitor and evaluate performance of distribution staff.
5. Monitor and track inventory levels.
6. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
8. Facilitate regular communication with all levels of the organization.
9. Train and mentor staff on warehouse and distribution operations.
10. Operate a variety of warehouse equipment.
