Distribution Supervisor

The Container Store is looking for a talented and highly motivated Distribution Supervisor to join our team. Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in a distribution management role• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team• Excellent communication and organizational skills• Advanced skills in MS Office applications and WMS systems• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities: • Lead, direct, and supervise all distribution operations including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and returns • Develop and maintain effective distribution strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery • Monitor and analyze distribution performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas of improvement • Ensure compliance to all safety and quality standards and procedures • Coordinate and manage external logistics activities, including third-party providers • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, carriers, and customers • Manage and ensure timely replenishment of inventory to meet customer demand • Create and maintain accurate records of all distribution activities • Establish and maintain control and tracking of inventory • Create and implement strategic initiatives to improve overall efficiency, accuracy, and customer service • Train, coach, and manage a team of distribution personnel
