1. Lead, manage, and motivate a team of design professionals, helping them to develop their skills, set and achieve goals, and stay motivated.
2. Create inspiring designs which capture the essence of The Container Store's brand.
3. Work collaboratively with a variety of teams and stakeholders, such as product teams, marketing teams, and customer service teams.
4. Ensure design projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Ensure designs are consistent with The Container Store brand and objectives.
6. Monitor and analyze design trends in the retail industry.
7. Provide feedback, mentorship, and guidance to design team members.
8. Establish and maintain design standards, processes, and procedures.
9. Present design proposals and concepts to senior management.
10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies.
