Our Store Manager is a key member of the leadership team responsible for creating and supporting a customer-focused shopping experience.The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in retail store management. They will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, and be able to motivate and inspire their team. They should also have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and be able to stay current with retail trends and best practices.The Store Manager will be the face of The Children's Place in the local community, and will be responsible for ensuring that the store operates efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities: •Oversee store operations and ensure that all store personnel are providing excellent customer service •Maximize store sales and profits by ensuring the store is kept clean and organized, and customers are served in a timely manner •Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve daily and weekly sales goals •Develop and implement creative strategies to drive store traffic and increase customer loyalty •Monitor store inventory levels and ensure product is replenished on a regular basis •Manage store budget and financials, ensuring cost-effective practices and compliance with company policies •Train and mentor new store personnel, develop individual goals, and assess performance •Ensure compliance with all safety and loss prevention guidelines and procedures •Stay current with retail trends and best practices, as well as local market conditions and competitor activities
