  1. Lead and manage a team of sales associates to ensure a positive and welcoming environment for customers.
  2. Drive sales and meet store targets by setting goals and expectations for the team.
  3. Create a customer-centric culture by providing exceptional service and building relationships with customers.
  4. Maintain store visual standards and ensure merchandise is displayed in an appealing and organized manner.
  5. Train and develop team members on product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
  7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Act as a brand ambassador by consistently demonstrating and promoting the company's values and mission.
  9. Collaborate with the head office and other store leads to implement company-wide initiatives and promotions.
  10. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  11. Motivate and inspire team members to reach their full potential and foster a positive work culture.
  12. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their growth and development.
  13. Lead by example and uphold high standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to make strategic recommendations for the store.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve store operations and enhance the customer experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Leadership Experience: The Ideal Candidate For A Store Lead Position At The Children's Place Should Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Experience Should Demonstrate Strong Management Skills, The Ability To Lead A Team, And A Track Record Of Achieving Goals And Objectives.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Store Lead Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Both Customers And Team Members. This Includes Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Build Positive Relationships With Customers And Provide Exceptional Customer Service.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Operations: The Children's Place Is A Fast-Paced Retail Environment, And A Store Lead Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Retail Operations. This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Visual Merchandising, And Sales Strategies.

  • Strong Organizational And Multitasking Skills: A Store Lead Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities Simultaneously. This Requires Excellent Organizational Skills, The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, And The Flexibility To Adapt To Changing Situations.

  • Passion For Working With Children: The Children's Place Is A Brand Focused On Providing Quality Clothing For Children. A Store Lead Should Have A Passion For Working With Children And A Desire To Create A Positive Shopping Experience For Families. This Includes A Friendly And Approachable Demeanor, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of The Brand's Values And Mission.
