Job Description

Are you a dynamic and motivated leader with a passion for fashion and children's clothing? The Children's Place is seeking a Store Lead to join our team and help drive our success in providing high-quality, affordable clothing for kids. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, leading and developing a team of sales associates, and providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales goals.   1. Oversee daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring a clean and organized sales floor.
  2. Lead and develop a team of sales associates by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high-performing and motivated staff.
  3. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and respect among team members.
  4. Drive sales and meet or exceed set sales goals by implementing effective sales strategies and providing exceptional customer service.
  5. Utilize strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and upper management.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to make informed decisions and adjustments to improve store performance.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
  8. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company's products, promotions, and policies to accurately assist customers and train team members.
  10. Collaborate with other store leads and upper management to implement new initiatives and drive overall store success.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Retail Management Experience: A Store Lead At The Children's Place Should Have Previous Experience In Managing A Retail Store, Preferably In The Fashion Or Children's Clothing Industry.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Store Lead Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Sales Associates. This Includes Setting Goals, Providing Feedback, And Creating A Positive Work Environment.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: The Children's Place Prides Itself On Providing Excellent Customer Service, And The Store Lead Should Be Able To Lead By Example In This Area. This Includes Resolving Customer Concerns, Ensuring A Positive Shopping Experience, And Building Relationships With Customers.

  • Knowledge Of Children's Fashion: The Store Lead Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Current Fashion Trends For Children And Be Able To Effectively Merchandise The Store To Appeal To The Target Demographic.

  • Organizational And Multitasking Abilities: As A Leader In The Store, The Store Lead Should Possess Strong Organizational And Multitasking Skills. This Includes Managing Inventory, Creating Schedules, And Overseeing Various Tasks And Projects Within The Store.
