  1. Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  2. Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers by greeting them and providing assistance with their shopping needs.
  3. Utilize your knowledge of children's fashion and trends to assist customers in finding the perfect items for their children.
  4. Train and develop team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to drive sales.
  6. Ensure the store is well-stocked and visually appealing by coordinating with the merchandising team.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized store environment by overseeing daily cleaning and restocking tasks.
  8. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Create and maintain employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak business hours.
  10. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve their performance.
  11. Collaborate with the store manager to set sales goals and develop action plans to achieve them.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, cash handling, inventory management, and loss prevention.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' strategies to make informed decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
  14. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, diversity, and inclusion.
  15. Represent The Children's Place brand by embodying our values and providing an exceptional shopping experience for customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Experience: A Store Lead At The Children's Place Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Supervisory Role. This Experience Should Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of Customer Service, Sales Techniques, And Store Operations.

  • Excellent Leadership Skills: The Store Lead Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Motivating A Team. They Should Be Able To Delegate Tasks Effectively, Provide Constructive Feedback, And Handle Any Conflicts Or Issues That May Arise Among Team Members.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Store Lead, Effective Communication Is Key. This Includes Being Able To Clearly Convey Information To Both Customers And Team Members, As Well As Being Able To Actively Listen And Respond To Feedback From Both Parties.

  • Knowledge Of Children's Fashion: The Children's Place Specializes In Clothing For Children, So It Is Important For The Store Lead To Have A Strong Understanding Of Current Fashion Trends And The Ability To Make Merchandise Recommendations To Customers.

  • Organizational And Time-Management Skills: A Store Lead Is Responsible For Managing The Day-To-Day Operations Of The Store, Including Inventory Management, Scheduling, And Meeting Sales Goals. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Organizational Skills And Be Able To Prioritize Tasks To Ensure The Store Runs Smoothly And Efficiently.
