Job Description

Are you passionate about leading a team and creating a positive shopping experience for families? The Children's Place is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Store Lead. As a leader in our store, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and families by ensuring excellent customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a safe and organized store environment.   1. Lead and manage a team of retail associates to ensure a positive shopping experience for families.
  2. Create and maintain a welcoming and safe store environment for customers and employees.
  3. Train and develop team members to provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
  4. Utilize sales strategies to drive store sales and achieve set targets.
  5. Ensure proper merchandising and organization of products in the store.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
  7. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Collaborate with other store leaders to implement company policies and procedures.
  9. Conduct regular store meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates to the team.
  10. Maintain a high level of store cleanliness and ensure adherence to company standards.
  11. Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
  12. Assist with scheduling and managing employee work hours.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve store processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  14. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in the children's fashion market.
  15. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the company's brand and values and embody them in all interactions with customers and employees.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: A Successful Store Lead At The Children's Place Should Have Previous Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Similar Industry. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team, Driving Sales, And Ensuring Excellent Customer Service.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Store Lead, You Will Be Responsible For Managing And Developing A Team Of Sales Associates. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Constructive Feedback, And Motivate Team Members.

  • Knowledge Of Children's Fashion: The Children's Place Specializes In Children's Clothing And Accessories, So A Passion For Children's Fashion And Knowledge Of Current Trends Is Important For A Store Lead. This Will Help With Visual Merchandising And Providing Styling Advice To Customers.

  • Strong Organizational And Multitasking Abilities: A Store Lead At The Children's Place Will Be Responsible For Managing Various Tasks At Once, Such As Inventory Management, Scheduling, And Ensuring The Store Is Visually Appealing. Therefore, Strong Organizational And Multitasking Abilities Are Essential For Success In This Role.
