As the Store Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
  2. Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  3. Create and maintain a positive and welcoming shopping environment for customers.
  4. Train and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
  5. Monitor sales and inventory levels to make strategic decisions and drive profitability.
  6. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
  7. Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and upper management.
  8. Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  10. Collaborate with other store leads and upper management to develop and implement sales strategies.
  11. Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards to showcase the latest trends and products.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition to make informed business decisions.
  13. Manage and schedule staff to ensure proper coverage and productivity.
  14. Plan and execute special events and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
  15. Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of customers and team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate For A Store Lead Position At The Children's Place Should Have Prior Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Similar Industry. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Effectively Lead A Team And Handle Various Store Operations.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Store Lead, One Must Be Able To Lead By Example And Effectively Manage A Team Of Employees. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance, And Offer Constructive Feedback, Are Essential For This Role.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Children's Place Values Effective Communication With Both Customers And Team Members. A Store Lead Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Listen Actively, Communicate Clearly And Concisely, And Resolve Conflicts In A Professional Manner.

  • Knowledge Of The Brand And Products: A Successful Store Lead Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Children's Place Brand, Its Products, And Its Target Market. This Knowledge Will Allow Them To Effectively Train And Educate Team Members, As Well As Provide Exceptional Customer Service.

  • Ability To Multitask And Handle Pressure: The Children's Place Stores Can Get Busy, Especially During Peak Shopping Seasons. As A Store Lead, One Must Be Able To Multitask And Handle Pressure While Maintaining A Positive Attitude. This Includes Being Able To Prioritize Tasks, Make Quick Decisions, And Adapt To Changing Situations.
