As a Store Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coaching and developing team members, and ensuring exceptional customer service.   1. Oversee daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  2. Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  3. Create and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and increase store profitability.
  4. Train and develop team members on product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service standards.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas of improvement and take necessary action to optimize store performance.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  7. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for team members, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
  8. Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members to support their professional growth and development.
  9. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Maintain a strong understanding of current fashion trends and product offerings to provide style recommendations to customers.
  11. Collaborate with other Store Leads and management to share best practices and drive overall company success.
  12. Act as a role model for the company's values and promote a customer-centric mindset among team members.
  13. Stay informed about the competitive landscape and market trends to make informed business decisions.
  14. Maintain a high level of store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall customer experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Retail Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate For A Store Lead Position At The Children's Place Should Have Previous Experience In Managing A Retail Store, Preferably In The Apparel Industry. This Includes Overseeing Daily Operations, Managing Staff, And Driving Sales.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: A Store Lead Should Be Able To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of Employees. This Includes Setting Performance Expectations, Providing Feedback, And Resolving Conflicts In A Professional Manner.

  • Customer Service Orientation: The Children's Place Prides Itself On Providing Exceptional Customer Service. A Store Lead Should Have A Strong Customer Service Mindset And Be Able To Train And Develop Their Team To Deliver The Same Level Of Service.

  • Organizational Skills: With Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities, A Store Lead Must Be Highly Organized And Have The Ability To Prioritize Tasks. This Includes Managing Inventory, Scheduling, And Ensuring The Store Is Visually Appealing At All Times.

  • Knowledge Of Children's Fashion: As A Children's Clothing Retailer, It Is Important For A Store Lead To Have A Passion For Children's Fashion And Knowledge Of Current Trends. They Should Also Have An Understanding Of The Target Market And Be Able To Make Merchandising Decisions Based On Customer Preferences.
