- Oversee daily operations of the store and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and mentor team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
- Utilize sales strategies to meet and exceed store targets and goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and make strategic decisions to ensure product availability on the sales floor.
- Conduct regular meetings with team members to provide feedback, set goals, and address any concerns.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and the store is visually appealing at all times.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and actively educate customers and team members on current promotions and products.
- Collaborate with upper management to develop and implement strategies to improve store performance.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Lead by example and foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and inventory management.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and provide suggestions for improving store operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by upper management.
Previous Retail Management Experience: A Store Lead At The Children's Place Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Or Management Role Within A Retail Environment. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team, Overseeing Store Operations, And Driving Sales.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Store Lead Should Be Able To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team To Achieve Sales Goals, Provide Excellent Customer Service, And Maintain A Positive Work Environment. They Should Also Be Able To Make Decisions And Solve Problems Independently.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Leader In The Store, The Store Lead Should Have Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Team Members, And Higher Management.
Knowledge Of Children's Fashion And Trends: The Children's Place Specializes In Clothing For Children, So The Store Lead Should Have A Passion For Children's Fashion And Be Knowledgeable About Current Trends. This Will Help Them Provide Styling Advice To Customers And Ensure The Store Offers The Latest And Most Popular Items.
Attention To Detail And Organization: The Store Lead Is Responsible For Managing Inventory, Visual Merchandising, And Ensuring The Store Is Always Clean And Well-Maintained. Therefore, Strong Attention To Detail And Organization Skills Are Essential For This Role.
