As the Store Lead, you will have the opportunity to lead and motivate a team of talented individuals, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the success of our store.   1. Lead and motivate a team of store associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  2. Create a positive and welcoming environment for customers and staff, ensuring a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.
  3. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of current fashion trends and the ability to apply them to merchandising and customer styling.
  4. Train and develop store associates on product knowledge, customer service skills, and company policies and procedures.
  5. Monitor and track store sales, inventory, and expenses to ensure profitability.
  6. Oversee the execution of store visual merchandising and ensure that standards are met.
  7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Collaborate with other store leads and upper management to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, following all safety and security protocols.
  10. Assist in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new store associates.
  11. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to store associates.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry and market trends, as well as competitor strategies.
  13. Represent the brand and company values in all interactions with customers and staff.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to inventory control, cash handling, and loss prevention.
  15. Continuously strive to improve store performance and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate For A Store Lead Position At The Children's Place Should Have Previous Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Similar Store Environment. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team, Driving Sales, And Providing Excellent Customer Service.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Store Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Motivating A Team Of Sales Associates. Therefore, They Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Constructive Feedback, And Resolve Conflicts.

  • Knowledge Of Children's Fashion And Trends: The Children's Place Caters To A Specific Market Of Children's Fashion, And The Store Lead Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Current Trends, Styles, And Customer Preferences. This Knowledge Will Help The Candidate Make Informed Decisions On Merchandise Selection, Store Layout, And Promotions.

  • Ability To Multitask And Manage Priorities: The Store Lead Role At The Children's Place Requires The Candidate To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously, Such As Managing Inventory, Scheduling Employees, And Handling Customer Concerns. The Candidate Should Be Organized, Detail-Oriented, And Able To Prioritize Tasks Effectively To Ensure The Store Runs Smoothly.
