- Lead and motivate a team of store associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Create a positive and welcoming environment for customers and staff, ensuring a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of current fashion trends and the ability to apply them to merchandising and customer styling.
- Train and develop store associates on product knowledge, customer service skills, and company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and track store sales, inventory, and expenses to ensure profitability.
- Oversee the execution of store visual merchandising and ensure that standards are met.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with other store leads and upper management to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, following all safety and security protocols.
- Assist in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new store associates.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to store associates.
- Stay up-to-date on industry and market trends, as well as competitor strategies.
- Represent the brand and company values in all interactions with customers and staff.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to inventory control, cash handling, and loss prevention.
- Continuously strive to improve store performance and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Previous Retail Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate For A Store Lead Position At The Children's Place Should Have Previous Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Similar Store Environment. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team, Driving Sales, And Providing Excellent Customer Service.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Store Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Motivating A Team Of Sales Associates. Therefore, They Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Constructive Feedback, And Resolve Conflicts.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial For A Store Lead To Successfully Interact With Customers, Employees, And Upper Management. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Convey Information Clearly And Professionally.
