  1. Lead and manage a team of sales associates to ensure a positive and engaging shopping experience for customers.
  2. Train and develop team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  3. Create a welcoming and fun environment for kids to express their unique style.
  4. Drive sales by setting and achieving store goals, monitoring performance, and implementing effective sales strategies.
  5. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers and make recommendations.
  6. Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and replenish merchandise as needed.
  8. Ensure store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  9. Communicate effectively with upper management on store performance, customer feedback, and any operational issues.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Leadership Experience: A Store Lead At The Children's Place Should Have Prior Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Retail Setting. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team, Setting And Achieving Sales Goals, And Providing Excellent Customer Service.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Store Lead, Effective Communication Is Essential For Delegating Tasks To Team Members, Providing Clear Instructions, And Resolving Any Conflicts That May Arise. Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are A Must.

  • Knowledge Of Children's Fashion: The Children's Place Specializes In Clothing For Children, So A Store Lead Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Current Fashion Trends And Be Able To Provide Styling Advice To Customers. Previous Experience In Children's Retail Is Preferred.

  • Ability To Multitask And Prioritize: Store Leads Are Responsible For Overseeing Various Aspects Of The Store, Such As Inventory Management, Visual Merchandising, And Customer Service. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Multitask, Prioritize Tasks, And Manage Their Time Effectively To Ensure The Store Runs Smoothly.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: A Store Lead Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Motivate And Inspire Their Team To Meet Sales Goals And Provide Excellent Customer Service. They Should Also Have Experience Managing A Team And Be Able To Handle Any Performance Issues That May Arise.
