Job Description

If so, The Children's Place is looking for you to join our team as a Store Lead. As the Store Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, creating a positive and energetic work environment, and providing exceptional customer service. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with exceptional leadership skills and a drive for success.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, managing inventory, and ensuring the store is clean and organized at all times.
  2. Create a positive and energetic work environment by providing guidance, support, and motivation to the team.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, addressing any concerns or complaints, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
  4. Train and develop team members on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  5. Monitor sales performance and set and achieve sales goals for the store.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to increase store profitability, such as promotions, events, and visual merchandising.
  7. Collaborate with the district manager to review and analyze sales reports, identify areas of improvement, and develop action plans to achieve sales targets.
  8. Maintain a thorough understanding of the brand and its products, and educate team members on new merchandise, trends, and seasonal collections.
  9. Manage and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  10. Foster a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie among team members.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as safety and security guidelines.
  12. Handle cash transactions and manage the cash register, ensuring accuracy and security.
  13. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new team members.
  14. Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating exceptional customer service, sales, and leadership skills.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate For A Store Lead Position At The Children's Place Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team, Driving Sales, And Ensuring Excellent Customer Service.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Store Lead, You Will Be Responsible For Managing And Developing A Team Of Sales Associates. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Coach Team Members, Delegate Tasks Effectively, And Resolve Conflicts.

  • Knowledge Of Children's Fashion And Trends: The Children's Place Specializes In Clothing And Accessories For Children, So It's Important For A Store Lead To Have A Strong Understanding Of Children's Fashion And Trends. This Includes Being Able To Identify Popular Styles, Sizes, And Seasonal Items.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Store Lead Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Both Customers And Team Members. This Includes Providing Clear And Concise Instructions, Handling Customer Inquiries And Complaints, And Providing Feedback And Updates To Upper Management.

  • Strong Organizational And Multitasking Abilities: Working In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment Requires A Store Lead To Be Highly Organized And Able To Multitask Effectively. This Includes Managing Inventory, Creating Schedules, Processing Shipments, And Completing Other Administrative Tasks While Also Overseeing The Sales Floor.
