Welcome to The Children's Place, where fashion meets fun for kids of all ages! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Store Lead. As a Store Lead, you will play a key role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service while leading a team of dedicated associates. We are looking for someone who is passionate about our brand, loves working with children, and has excellent leadership skills. If you have a strong retail background and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our young customers, we would love to have you on our team.

  1. Lead and manage a team of store associates to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  2. Set and achieve sales goals, and monitor and report on store performance to upper management.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, resolving any issues or concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  4. Train and develop store associates on product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques.
  5. Create and maintain visual merchandising displays that align with company standards and attract customers.
  6. Ensure inventory levels are accurate and manage stock replenishment as needed.
  7. Monitor and enforce store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and organized store environment.
  8. Collaborate with upper management on store operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and marketing strategies.
  9. Act as a brand ambassador by promoting The Children's Place values and products to customers and employees.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor strategies to continuously improve store performance.
  11. Handle any escalated customer concerns or issues with professionalism and a focus on finding a resolution.
  12. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to store associates to promote growth and development.
  13. Foster a positive team dynamic by promoting teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude among store associates.
  14. Maintain a high level of personal and professional integrity while representing The Children's Place brand.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: A Strong Candidate For The Store Lead Position At The Children's Place Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In The Fashion Or Children's Retail Industry.

  • Excellent Leadership Skills: The Store Lead Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Sales Associates, So Strong Leadership Abilities Are A Must. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Feedback, And Motivate Team Members To Achieve Sales Goals.

  • Customer Service-Oriented: The Children's Place Prides Itself On Providing Exceptional Customer Service To Its Customers. A Store Lead Should Have A Strong Focus On Customer Satisfaction And Be Able To Train And Develop Their Team To Deliver The Same Level Of Service.

  • Knowledge Of Children's Fashion: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Passion For Children's Fashion And Be Knowledgeable About The Latest Trends And Styles. This Will Allow Them To Assist Customers And Make Product Recommendations Effectively.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills: As A Store Lead, Effective Communication With Both The Store Team And Upper Management Is Crucial. Additionally, The Ability To Multitask And Stay Organized In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment Is Essential For Success In This Role.
