Job Description

Welcome to The Children's Place, where we believe in creating a fun and stylish shopping experience for families. Our store is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Store Lead. As a Store Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store and ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered at all times. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about working with children's fashion and has a strong leadership background. If you are a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a love for fashion, we would love to hear from you.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times by setting a positive example for the rest of the team.
  • Train and develop team members to provide excellent customer service and maintain brand standards.
  • Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization to create a welcoming and visually appealing shopping environment.
  • Create and implement strategies to meet sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to develop and execute promotional events and activities.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to make informed business decisions.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the brand's products and communicate this information to customers and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
  • Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the store manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Retail Management Experience: A Store Lead At The Children's Place Should Have Prior Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In The Fashion Or Children's Retail Industry. This Experience Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Effectively.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate For A Store Lead Position Should Possess Excellent Leadership Abilities. They Should Be Able To Motivate And Guide Their Team To Achieve Sales Goals, Maintain Excellent Customer Service, And Uphold Company Standards.

  • Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets: The Children's Place Is A Results-Driven Company, And A Store Lead Should Have A Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets. This Demonstrates Their Ability To Drive Business And Achieve Revenue Goals.

  • Knowledge Of Children's Fashion And Trends: Being Familiar With Children's Fashion And Trends Is Important For A Store Lead At The Children's Place. This Knowledge Will Enable Them To Make Informed Decisions On Product Selection And Merchandising, Which Will Ultimately Drive Sales.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Store Lead Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers, Team Members, And Upper Management. They Should Also Be Able To Communicate Company Policies And Procedures Clearly To Their Team And Ensure They Are Followed Consistently.
