Job Description

Are you passionate about fashion and love working with children? The Children's Place is seeking a motivated and experienced Store Lead to join our team! As a Store Lead, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales while creating a fun and engaging shopping experience for our young customers. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, energetic, and has a strong understanding of retail operations. If you have a love for children's fashion and a desire to lead and mentor a team, we want to hear from you!

  1. Oversee daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring a positive and welcoming shopping experience for both children and their parents.
  3. Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, setting performance expectations and providing coaching and feedback to ensure sales goals are met.
  4. Maintain a strong understanding of the latest fashion trends in children's clothing and use this knowledge to drive sales and make merchandising decisions.
  5. Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of the store's policies, procedures, and products.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  7. Ensure the store is properly stocked and organized, including receiving and processing new merchandise shipments.
  8. Enforce loss prevention protocols to protect the store's inventory and assets.
  9. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among team members.
  10. Communicate effectively with upper management, providing updates on store performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  11. Serve as a role model for the team, exhibiting a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for fashion and working with children.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: A Qualified Store Lead Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Store Lead, You Will Be Responsible For Managing And Leading A Team Of Sales Associates. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Develop Team Members, Are Essential.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: The Children's Place Is A Customer-Focused Company, And The Store Lead Should Have Exceptional Customer Service Skills To Ensure A Positive Shopping Experience For All Customers.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Operations: A Store Lead Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Inventory Management, Visual Merchandising, And Sales Techniques.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: The Retail Industry Can Be Fast-Paced And Ever-Changing, So A Store Lead Should Be Able To Adapt Quickly To Changes In The Store Environment And Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Priorities Effectively.
