Welcome to The Children's Place, where fashion meets fun for the little ones in your life! We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Store Lead. As a Store Lead, you will have the opportunity to lead by example and create a positive and engaging shopping experience for our customers. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organized, and has a strong understanding of the retail industry. If you have a love for children's fashion and a desire to inspire and motivate a team, we want to hear from you!

  1. Create a Positive Shopping Experience: The Store Lead is responsible for ensuring that every customer who enters The Children's Place has a positive and engaging shopping experience. This includes providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and ensuring that all products are readily available for customers to browse and purchase.
  2. Lead by Example: The Store Lead will set the tone for the store and its employees by leading by example. This includes demonstrating excellent customer service, following company policies and procedures, and maintaining a positive attitude.
  3. Motivate and Inspire Team: The Store Lead will be responsible for motivating and inspiring their team to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales goals. This includes conducting team meetings, providing ongoing training and development, and recognizing and rewarding team members for their hard work.
  4. Ensure Compliance: The Store Lead is responsible for ensuring that the store and its employees are in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as any local, state, and federal regulations. This includes keeping track of inventory, monitoring cash handling procedures, and ensuring that all safety and security measures are being followed.
  5. Drive Sales: The Store Lead will play a crucial role in driving sales and meeting sales goals. This includes monitoring sales metrics, analyzing sales reports, and implementing strategies to increase sales.
  6. Maintain Visual Merchandising Standards: The Store Lead is responsible for maintaining the visual merchandising standards of the store. This includes creating eye-catching displays, ensuring that all products are properly stocked and displayed, and following company guidelines for visual merchandising.
  7. Build Relationships with Customers: The Store Lead will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. This includes engaging with customers, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring that customers feel valued and appreciated.
  8. Manage Store Operations: The Store Lead will be responsible for overseeing all store operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting. They will also work closely with the store manager to ensure that the store is running

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Children's Clothing Store Or A Similar Retail Environment.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Store Lead, One Must Be Able To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of Sales Associates To Achieve Sales Goals And Provide Excellent Customer Service.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Team Members, And Upper Management.

  • Knowledge Of Merchandising And Inventory Management: A Store Lead Should Have A Good Understanding Of Merchandising Principles And Be Able To Effectively Manage Inventory Levels To Ensure The Store Is Adequately Stocked At All Times.

  • Passion For Working With Children: The Children's Place Is A Store That Caters To Children And Their Families, So The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Genuine Passion For Working With Children And Creating A Fun And Welcoming Environment For Them.
