The Children's Place is seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Lead to join our team. As a Store Lead, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated sales associates and ensure that our store delivers exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals.   1. Lead and manage a team of sales associates to ensure a high level of customer service and a positive shopping experience for both children and parents.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
  3. Train and mentor sales associates on product knowledge, customer service techniques, and company policies and procedures.
  4. Create and maintain a visually appealing and organized store environment that showcases the latest children's fashion trends.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  6. Communicate effectively with customers to resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  7. Conduct regular store meetings to discuss sales performance, customer feedback, and any operational updates.
  8. Handle cash management and ensure accurate and secure handling of all financial transactions.
  9. Collaborate with the district manager to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as all safety and security protocols.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve store operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify potential opportunities for growth.
  13. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where all team members feel motivated and valued.
  14. Handle any escalated customer concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the district manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Leadership Experience: A Store Lead At The Children's Place Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Leadership Role, Preferably In A Children's Clothing Store Or Similar Industry.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: The Store Lead Will Be Responsible For Ensuring That All Customers Have A Positive Shopping Experience. This Requires Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations With Grace And Professionalism.

  • Knowledge Of Children's Fashion And Trends: As A Store Lead At The Children's Place, It's Important To Have A Good Understanding Of Current Children's Fashion Trends And Styles. This Will Help With Merchandising And Providing Fashion Advice To Customers.

  • Team Management Experience: The Store Lead Will Be Responsible For Managing And Training A Team Of Sales Associates. Previous Experience In Team Management, Including Scheduling, Performance Evaluations, And Coaching, Is Essential For This Role.

  • Strong Organizational And Multitasking Skills: The Store Lead Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Various Aspects Of The Store, Including Inventory Management, Visual Merchandising, And Daily Operations. This Requires Excellent Organizational And Multitasking Abilities To Ensure The Store Runs Smoothly And Efficiently.
