Welcome to The Children's Place, where we value imagination, creativity, and most importantly, children. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Store Lead to join our team. As a Store Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store and ensuring that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, organized, and has a strong background in retail management. If you have a love for children's fashion and a drive for leadership, we would love to have you on our team.

  1. Oversee daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
  2. Ensure that all employees are providing exceptional customer service and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  3. Train and develop team members to provide a welcoming and child-friendly atmosphere in the store.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales data to make informed decisions about merchandise placement and sales strategies.
  5. Maintain visual standards and ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Collaborate with corporate teams to implement promotions, marketing initiatives, and new product launches.
  8. Conduct regular meetings with store staff to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
  9. Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
  10. Monitor and enforce store policies, including dress code, safety protocols, and loss prevention measures.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for all employees.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and growth within the store.
  13. Act as a role model for team members by embodying the company's values and promoting a positive work culture.
  14. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition to make strategic decisions.
  15. Adhere to all company standards and expectations, including attendance, punctuality, and professionalism.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Leadership Skills: A Store Lead At The Children's Place Must Have Proven Experience In Leading And Motivating A Team To Achieve Sales Targets And Provide Excellent Customer Service.

  • Retail Management Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role Is Required For This Position. This Includes Experience In Visual Merchandising, Inventory Management, And Driving Sales.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Store Lead, You Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Your Team, Customers, And Management. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Children's Fashion: The Children's Place Specializes In Children's Clothing And Accessories, So A Strong Understanding Of Current Fashion Trends And Styles For Kids Is Important For This Role.

  • Flexible Schedule: Store Leads Must Be Able To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays, To Ensure Proper Coverage And Meet The Needs Of The Business.
