Job Description

The Children's Place is looking for a customer-focused Store Lead to join our team and help us reach our mission of providing a great shopping experience to all our customers. As the Store Lead, you will be the face of our company and a role model for our employees. You will be responsible for ensuring the store runs efficiently and that customers have a positive shopping experience.The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for fashion and an interest in providing excellent customer service. You should have a strong work ethic, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills. Previous retail management experience is preferred. If you have the drive and enthusiasm to help us make a difference in the lives of our customers, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead store operations, including overseeing customer service, managing stock, merchandising, and opening and closing procedures.
  2. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and guidance to ensure customer satisfaction and sales targets are met.
  3. Monitor store budgets and financial performance to ensure profitability.
  4. Create a positive work environment and foster team spirit.
  5. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  7. Identify any areas of improvement and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  8. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices.
  9. Train and develop store staff to maximize their potential.
