Our team is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Store Lead. As a Store Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting our store team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about our brand and has a strong understanding of retail operations.   1. Lead and support the store team in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all customers.
  2. Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  3. Train and develop team members on company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  4. Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and productivity.
  5. Monitor and analyze store sales and performance to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to drive sales.
  6. Assist in inventory management and maintain proper stock levels to meet customer demand.
  7. Collaborate with the corporate office and other store leads to implement marketing and promotional strategies.
  8. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
  9. Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
  10. Continuously strive to increase product knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
  12. Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating team members to maintain a high-performing and motivated team.
  13. Conduct regular store meetings to communicate updates, goals, and expectations to the team.
  14. Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the store manager or corporate office.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Leadership Experience: The Ideal Candidate For A Store Lead Position At The Children's Place Should Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Could Include Experience As A Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Or Team Leader.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Store Lead, You Will Be Responsible For Managing And Communicating With A Team Of Employees, As Well As Interacting With Customers. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Operations: The Children's Place Is A Fast-Paced Retail Environment, So It Is Important For A Store Lead To Have A Strong Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Inventory Management, Visual Merchandising, And Sales Techniques.

  • Customer Service Expertise: The Children's Place Prides Itself On Providing Exceptional Customer Service, And The Store Lead Plays A Crucial Role In Ensuring This Standard Is Met. Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Providing Excellent Customer Service And Resolving Customer Issues.

  • Passion For Working With Children: The Children's Place Caters To Young Children And Their Families, So A Passion For Working With Children And Creating A Fun And Engaging Shopping Experience Is Essential For A Store Lead.
