1. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and product trends.
2. Assist in the selection and evaluation of new suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms to ensure competitive pricing and quality products.
3. Collaborate with the design and production teams to develop product specifications and prototypes.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier information, product details, and pricing.
5. Manage communication and build relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality control of products.
6. Monitor and track inventory levels and work closely with the planning team to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
7. Stay informed of industry trends and market demands to make informed decisions on sourcing new products.
8. Assist in the creation of product assortments and participate in product line reviews.
9. Coordinate and attend product development and sourcing meetings with cross-functional teams.
10. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards, in all sourcing activities.
11. Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
