If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Associate Sourcing Manager at The Children's Place. As an Associate Sourcing Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and are delivered to our stores on time. We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven individual who is ready to take on the challenge of sourcing the best products for our young customers.   1. Identify and source high-quality products for children's apparel in line with the company's brand and customer preferences.
  2. Stay updated on current fashion trends and industry developments to inform sourcing decisions.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating pricing and terms to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
  4. Conduct product research and analysis to identify potential new vendors and products.
  5. Monitor and manage production timelines to ensure timely delivery of products to stores.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as design, production, and merchandising to ensure alignment on product selection and sourcing strategies.
  7. Review and approve product samples to ensure they meet quality standards and brand guidelines.
  8. Track and manage sourcing budgets to optimize costs and profitability.
  9. Continuously monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with company standards and expectations.
  10. Participate in vendor meetings and international travel as needed to build and maintain relationships and stay updated on industry trends.
  11. Work closely with the Associate Sourcing Director to develop and implement sourcing strategies that support the company's goals and objectives.
  12. Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities to leadership and relevant teams.
  13. Proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges that may arise in the sourcing process.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Sourcing Or Procurement, Preferably In The Retail Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Sourcing Strategies, Supply Chain Management, And Vendor Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Vendors.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Relevant Software Programs, With The Ability To Analyze And Report On Sourcing Data.
