Our mission is to make shopping for kids easy, fun, and affordable. We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Assistant Store Manager to join our team and help us achieve our goals. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, while providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive and engaging shopping experience for our customers.   1. Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
  2. Train and develop team members to ensure excellent customer service, product knowledge, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  3. Provide a welcoming and positive atmosphere for customers, creating a memorable shopping experience for families.
  4. Help drive sales and meet store goals through strong product knowledge and effective merchandising strategies.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving store performance.
  6. Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies for increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  7. Support the Store Manager in maintaining a safe and clean store environment, following all company safety and security protocols.
  8. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
  9. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
  10. Act as a role model for the team by consistently demonstrating excellent customer service, teamwork, and professionalism.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and new product offerings to make informed business decisions.
  12. Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive work culture for all team members.
  13. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
  14. Support the Store Manager in achieving financial goals by monitoring expenses and maximizing profitability.
  15. Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Store Manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In Retail Management: A Successful Assistant Store Manager At The Children's Place Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Retail Management. This Includes Experience In Leading A Team, Managing Inventory, And Driving Sales.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Assistant Store Manager, You Will Be Responsible For Effectively Communicating With Customers, Employees, And Upper Management. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Strong Leadership Abilities: The Children's Place Values Leaders Who Can Motivate And Inspire Their Team To Achieve Their Goals. As An Assistant Store Manager, You Should Have Experience In Training, Coaching, And Developing Employees To Reach Their Full Potential.

  • Knowledge Of Children's Fashion And Trends: The Children's Place Specializes In Children's Apparel, So Having A Passion For Fashion And A Good Understanding Of Current Trends Is Important. This Can Help You Make Informed Decisions On Merchandising And Product Selection For The Store.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Children's Place Is A Busy Retail Environment, And The Assistant Store Manager Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. The Ability To Thrive In A Fast-Paced Environment Is Crucial For Success In This Role.
