
Senior Evaluator

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of academic programs to assess student learning outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement assessment plans that align with university goals and accreditation standards.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on assessment findings to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Stay current with best practices in assessment and evaluation methodologies and make recommendations for incorporating them into university processes.
- Design and administer surveys, questionnaires, and other assessment tools to gather feedback from students, faculty, and other stakeholders.
- Train and mentor junior evaluators to ensure consistency and accuracy in evaluation processes.
- Serve as a resource for faculty and staff on assessment-related matters, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments and offices to coordinate assessment efforts and share best practices.
- Participate in accreditation reviews and provide evidence of compliance with assessment standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of university-wide initiatives aimed at improving student learning and success.
Extensive Experience In Program Evaluation: A Senior Evaluator At Texas Tech University Must Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Conducting Program Evaluations. This Includes Designing Evaluation Plans, Collecting And Analyzing Data, And Presenting Findings To Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Evaluation Methodologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Evaluation Methodologies, Including Quantitative And Qualitative Methods, Logic Models, And Data Visualization Techniques. This Will Enable Them To Choose The Most Appropriate Approach For A Given Evaluation Project.
Strong Analytical Skills: A Senior Evaluator Should Be Able To Collect, Organize, And Interpret Large Amounts Of Data. They Should Also Have The Ability To Identify Patterns And Trends, Draw Conclusions, And Make Evidence-Based Recommendations For Program Improvement.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Evaluation Team, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Presenting Evaluation Findings To Various Stakeholders, Including University Administrators, Faculty, And External Partners. Therefore, Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills Are A Must.
Experience With Grant Writing And Project Management: Many Of Texas Tech University's Evaluation Projects Are Funded Through Grants. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Grant Writing And Managing Evaluation Projects, Including Budgeting, Timeline Development, And Team Coordination. This Will Ensure The Successful Execution Of Evaluation Projects Within Allocated Resources.
