  1. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement innovative solutions to support the technological needs of Texas Tech University.
  2. Utilize programming skills and knowledge of current technologies to design, code, and test software applications.
  3. Conduct thorough analysis of system requirements and assist in the development of technical specifications.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely and efficient resolutions.
  5. Stay current with emerging technologies and make recommendations for their implementation in university systems.
  6. Work closely with end-users to understand their needs and provide user-friendly solutions.
  7. Document code, processes, and procedures to ensure efficient maintenance and future development.
  8. Participate in project planning and management to ensure timely completion and successful implementation of projects.
  9. Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
  10. Proactively identify and address potential problems or risks in systems and processes.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems.
  12. Adhere to all university policies and procedures regarding security and data privacy.
  13. Act as a mentor and resource for junior programmers and analysts on the team.
  14. Continuously assess and improve existing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Texas Tech University positively in all interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Experience With Database Management And Sql.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Software Development And Programming.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Debug Complex Code.
