
Health Specialist - Family and Health Specialist
Provide for the safety and supervision of children according to Texas Department of Family and Protective Services minimum standards, NAEYC accreditation standards, and Early Head Start Performance Standards. Responsible for assisting families with referrals to outside agencies for promoting positive outcomes utilizing the PFACE tool. Assist with organizing, preparing, and facilitating Policy Council correspondence, votes, and meetings. Assists with gathering, analyzing and submitting PIR (Program Information Report) annually. Responsible for monitoring 45-day screenings.
1 year job related experience.
Experience working with low-income populations.
Knowledge and experience with Early Head Start, NAEYC accreditation standards, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Minimum Standards.
